First off:



Modern Warfare is a part of the Call of Duty franchise, just as much as Black Ops is.



Medal of Honor (2010) is a great game, but lacks the multiplayer experience that Call of Duty offers.



Halo is a Sci-Fi game compared to Medal of Honor and Call of Duty. The guns are unrealistic (but cool) and the gravity is insane. Still a great game....thousands of people still play Halo 3.What's the difference between Call of Duty, Medal of Honor, Modern Warfare, and Halo?
The current CoD games are based in current time lines, unlike most of the medal of honor games.(Or all of them) Modern warfare is based off of.... well.... Modern Warfare. It uses real and current guns, locations and tactics. Modern warfare 2 is probably the most played First Person Shooter out there. Also the story lines are Excellent. The gameplay is also extremely realistic on the harder difficulties, and shows how often you would actually die in these situations.



Halo, on the other hand, is set about 500 years in the future. It uses space travel, plasma technology, and aliens to get it's point across. It's story is pretty good for its setting, but quality varies from person to person. The weapons are extremely powered up(And down) from realistic applications. It also uses a rather low level of gravity, allowing huge(10-12 feet) jumps. Pretty much tied with CoD for online play.



They are both Very unique stories, and games. I would recommend them both to almost anybody.



Medal of honor is hit or miss. Some are good, some are bad. I personally don't like them at all. But they are close to CoD games.What's the difference between Call of Duty, Medal of Honor, Modern Warfare, and Halo?
