What Can I do to Earn the Congressional Medal of honor in the Marine Corps?

I head to boot camp in a few weeks. 03xx Infantry.

I know its not easy to earn this award. And many receive it Posthumous.

But in my heart I do believe that I have what it takes to earn this honor.

Is anything possible in this case? Or am i just aiming for a lost cause that is not going to happen? What Can I do to Earn the Congressional Medal of honor in the Marine Corps?
From both your question and your screen name, my guess would be TROLL!

However, I'll humor you... Most men that earn the Medal of Honor don't believe what they did was anything heroic. They are doing what they were trained to do, they are doing what is in the best interest of the God, Corps %26amp; Country. No one ever strives to win the CMH, no hero ever realizes they are one. Since you are asking and assuming you have the metal those men had before you, I would assume to guess you do not. (Metal meaning strength of character, not medal as in the thing on your chest.)

No one joins the Marines or any other branch of the military to earn decorations. To assume you have what it takes, I doubt you'll make it through boot. You really won't make it through when they discover your tranny status.
First of all, it's not the Congressional Medal of Honor. It's simply the Medal of Honor.

Secondly, I'd worry about making it through Marine training first.

Finally, read some actual MOH citations. Only an idiot goes out hoping to earn a medal for valor. You know when most people earn things like Silver Stars and Navy Crosses? When everything goes wrong and you have to do something outstandingly stupid to rectify the situation.

The following is going to sound cruel, and I apologize for it, but it is a fact: if you go into combat looking for glory, you will get your buddies killed. They will bleed and die because you want to a ribbon around your neck. Combat units are a team, not a hero and his supporting cast.

If you really want to be a Marine infantryman, you have my thanks and hopes for a successful and long career. But if you just want to be a hero, withdraw your enlistment right now. What Can I do to Earn the Congressional Medal of honor in the Marine Corps?
The best way to explain the Congressional Medal of Honor is that it is something that you do not want to win. It usually involves going into a situation so dangerous or so horrible that it is a miracle to come out of. If it happens it will not happen by choice it could be something along the lines of what would be practical suicide that would save the lives of others. just read some of the stories and you will understand. I have had the pleasure of meeting 2 medal of honor recipients 1 was shot down had broken bones all over tried evading capture and was captured then was the most hated person in terms of resistance by the enemy as a POW. He was tortured constantly and still did things like sing the national anthem knowing it would be more torture for him but it helped give other POWs hope. one medal of honor story that i still am amazed by is red irving. who a white phosphurous flare went off inside their plane the intense heat was enough to detroy the plane but it was about to explode red went to the scorching flare and manage to toss it out as it burned his whole body. when they landed he was awarded the medal of honor in the hospital before he was expected to die but managed to live. long story short hope you are never in a situation that you would win one.
If you set out to earn a Congressional Medal of Honor you will probably get killed for practically nothing. Frequently the MoH recipient does something that simply presented itself and he was able to do something about it with extreme courage and valor. It has been said that the difference between a General Court-Martial and MoH is if you are successful or not. What Can I do to Earn the Congressional Medal of honor in the Marine Corps?
You most Certainly will NOT EARN the Congressional Medal of Honour in Boot Camp. You would have to be in COMBAT in an Operational area against the enemy and be in a situation where you succeed with the utmost bravery against the enemy; noticed by one or more comrade.
You are not in a Competition. These are awarded by the different branches to its service members, based upon service or actions. Not many service members actually pop a cap in combat. They are in support roles. If I would have been awarded such an honor, I would have to share with all my fellow service members. It takes them to do there job efficiently for me to do mine.
Just worry about doing your job to your best ability. If the opportunity presents itself everything will fall into place. Everybody who ever won the Medal Of Honor never set out to do it, they only wanted to be a good solider, Marine, etc
Don't join the military to get some sort of award. The award is doing your job as an American citizen to serve your country, and protect your freedoms.
If you jump on a live grenade during boot camp they will give you the Medal of Honor. I say go for it.
First, , let';s see if you have what it takes to graduate from Boot Camp.
Please do not look to earn medals.

That is how people get hurt.
You have to be forest gump to get it......

so act like him.....

I JUST KEPT RUNNING AND RUNNING..

and dont forget to befreind a black man.....
